Project Focal Point: Equal Opportunities Through Education
"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
Without education, you are not going anywhere in this world."
- Malcom X
Education is like a currency whose value never falls. It is a lifelong investment.

A recent survey on the number of needy children and teenagers conducted by us in local schools unveiled alarmingly how much help is indeed necessary. Within a very short time, we received over 500 applications, mainly from children and young people, orphans and half-orphans from a region of about 20,000 habitants in the North West Province of Cameroon.
At present, we support 80 children and teenagers who were accepted. These young people attend primary, secondary and high schools. We could only pay the tuition fees since we were operating on a very limited budget. The president of the organization, Akuma Saningong, flew to Cameroon in order to accomplish this task. He spoke to the candidates and heard many heart-rending stories. He gazed into eyes filled with hope and saw hearts consumed with hopelessness. The supported children urgently need the required text books; otherwise they won't be permitted to attend classes. This in turn would mean that our help would not bear the fruits for which it was intended for. This is why we strongly appeal to everyone who has something to donate or who is interested in a sustainable membership (90 € p.a.) or in a child sponsorship (120 € p.a.) to make a goodwill move.
This assistance by means of paying for tuition, books and eventually a school uniform in case of a first enrollment is intended to be a stipend. It is limited to a year with the option of an extension, provided that the candidate does not have to repeat the class.
Kamerun4AfrikaClub e.V. awards yearly stipends to underprivileged children and teenagers.
